LINDA CLARK
Always doodling as a child, Linda became interested in painting when she lived in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada and joined the MH Art Club (early 1980’s).  In the spring of 2002 Linda retired from her day job with the bank and began her dream of becoming a full time artist.
 
Encouragement from her husband Norm and mentor’s Cindy Brown and Marg Metcalf have given Linda the encouragement needed to professionally pursue this delightful medium.  Currently Linda is the Secretary of the Sylvan Lake Art Society and has also been the President and Vice President in past years.

LISA HEINRICKS
Lisa is a complex artist, always striving to learn. Fascinated with technique and materials, Lisa is always challenging her work, experimenting with mediums and forever exploring new ideas. She has spent most of her life on the West Coast and the Prairies giving her a love for open spaces and ever changing extreme weather. Thus influencing her work to constantly challenge and change.
 
She attended the Alberta College of Art sometime in the late 80's for a grueling long year. Being dyslexic and unable to cope with the school structure, it was at this point that she decided to follow her heart and instinct and lead a life of self directed learning. With the influence of new paints and mediums, teaching and exploring, Lisa’s work has changed drastically over the years.  She is an accomplished artist always willing to share ideas, technique and the love of art.
 
Lisa's work has shown across the world, from the Prime Ministers Office in Canada to Florence, Italy to Hollywood, California. It is at this point in her career that she hopes to become as well traveled as her art.
